Pizza restaurants from all over Altoona are on hand to compete for who has the best pizza in town. For a $5 ticket, you get pizza and fountain drinks while a DJ plays your favorite music. Held annually at the Swiss Rifle Club, a $25 ticket buys a great dinner and all-acces to the event. There is a cash bar at this event so it is for adults only. Purchase "DGO BUCKS" and bet on horse racing. DGO Board members are the "bookies" and take the bets (using "DGO Bucks") on the horses. Then the DGO money you win you use to buy chances to win some great prices. Last year we had about 40 different prize packages ranging from $20 to $100 each. The chances are drawn at the end and a trip to Jamaica is auctioned off worth $4000.

Lehman Engineers Trail Ride
The Trail Ride is held at Canoe Creek State Park. Riders, bring your horses and get sponsors for the ride! Volunteers prepare a trail for the riders to ride on. At the end of the ride we have a pavilion set up with food and baskets to auction off. We also have activities for kids (crafts and games). Prizes are given to the person who raised the most money!
