- Safety comes first.
- Patience.
- To build self-confidence, communication skills, compassion and trust.
- To create a well-rounded rider / individual rider.
- The total rider has precedence.
- Every person leaving here will be confident and capable.
- We want thinking riders and volunteers.
- All people learn in different ways. What a rider learns from one volunteer can be supplemented by another.
- We can be a team.
- No rider's confidence should ever be put at stake.
- Do not be afraid to seek help.
The Mission of the non-profit organization Dreams Go On is to provide therapeutic horseback riding sessions to adults and children who are physically challenged, receive mental health, behavioral health or family therapy services. Certified instructors and dedicated volunteers teach responsibility, trust, rules, patience, compassion, self-confidence, teamwork, and safety.
